Frequently Asked Questions

A Supportive Living Facility is an affordable assisted living model administered by the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services. The program was developed as an alternative to nursing homes and emphasizes personal choice, dignity, privacy and individuality. By combining apartment-style housing with personal care and other services, residents can live independently and take part in decision-making. Seniors of all incomes including those on Medicaid may qualify for residency at the Symphony Residences Lincoln Park.  To find out more about the State of Illinois Supportive Living program, click here.

What options are available for monthly payment?
Please contact us for a more detailed explanation of fees or click here.

Do you allow pets?
Yes. At Symphony we understand your pets are part of your family. Indeed, we have an aquarium, an aviary and some of our staff members even bring their dogs to work. In order to have a pet, a resident must be able to take care of their pet themselves and have a plan in place in case they can no longer care for their pet in the future. Also, a non-refundable pet deposit of $200.00 is required.

Are the apartments furnished?
Our apartments are unfurnished and we encourage our residents to bring their own furniture. This allows our residents the freedom to furnish and decorate their new home with their own personal style in mind. If you don’t have furniture or need additional items, we have resources to assist you.

Does Symphony Residences Lincoln Park offer parking?
Yes. The Symphony Residences Lincoln Park has visitor parking in our attached lot. If a resident would like a permanent parking space in this lot, we charge an additional $200 per month.
